The flatlet at the Kurfürstendamm (near Albrecht-Achilles-Straße), located in a side wing of the dwelling house, which is beside the „Schaubühne“, part of the WOGA complex at the Lehniner place. The WOGA complex, today it is under protection and conservation of monuments and historic buildings, was built in 1927-1931 by the architect Erich Mendelsohn. Every building Mendelsohn developed in relation for the respective purpose and the surroundings. Quietly situated, with clear conception, the dwelling house stands in contrast to the moved ambience of the Kurfürstendamm. Restaurants, cafés and supermarkets are in immediate nearness. |
